OTHERS
The Stephen Shaw Gallery opened above GoodVibrations Record Shop in January 2010 and featured as part of the Programme for “Culture Night Belfast 2010”. The Gallery was closed, along with the shop, in June 2011 and moved for several months to a dedicated room in Townhouse Gallery, 125 Great Victoria Street, Belfast.
Stephen has appeared on BBC Radio Ulster “Arts Extra” in April 2011 and January 2012. Interviewed by Marie Louise Muir. Speaking about the Exhibitions in The Ulster Hall and Red Barn Gallery.
NVTV did a feature on Stephen and his Exhibition in The John Hewitt for the programme “Focal Point” which was broadcast on 12 May 2015 and is still available to view on line.
I was interviewed and filmed for a 26 minute feature documentary on his work by Northern Visions Television for their Arts series :”Collapse the Box”. It was first broadcast on 8th February 2016 and is still available to view online. Follow the direct link from this website. Another 30 minutes feature was recorded in the Ulster Museum in December 2022 and broadcast in March 2023. Interviewed by Noelle McAlinden and focusing on my Bursary Award and election to the Royal Ulster Academy. Both are still available for viewing on the internet.
